The problem

Two kinds of calls, all day

The studio's phone carried two kinds of traffic, constantly. The first was aftercare: “is this infected”, “how do I clean it”, asked by call and by message.

The second was pricing — and many of those calls came from people who were really looking to negotiate.

What we found

Every answer already existed

Both kinds of question were entirely answerable in advance.

The aftercare knowledge was expertise the studio already had — it was just being delivered by phone, one caller at a time, over and over.

And pricing was being negotiated for a simple reason: it was invisible until someone asked. A price nobody can see is a price anybody can argue with.

What we built

One page, every answer

A single-page site built to take the phone traffic:

  • A full aftercare guide covering the questions the studio was fielding daily
  • Published prices
  • Booking through the studio's existing messaging channel
The aftercare section, tabbed by piercing type, with three cards: a cleaning routine, what to avoid while healing, and a healing timeline giving ranges for lobes, cartilage, nose and navel.
Aftercare guide
The ear piercing price list — lobe, helix, conch, rook, flat, tragus, daith, industrial and newborn — each with a published price range, beside a labelled diagram of ear piercing locations.

What changed

The same answers, without the phone

Far fewer aftercare calls — the guide answers them first. And publishing prices filtered out the customers who were only calling to haggle.
