Where we work
Based in Ottawa. Not limited to it.
The studio is in Ottawa and most of the region is a short drive. The rest of the work is remote, which is how software has been built for a decade — and the pages below say what actually changes when it is.
Straight answer
There is one studio, and it is in Ottawa
Latchford is a service-area business. That means one team, based in Ottawa, working with clients wherever they are — not a chain of branch offices with a local number each. You will not find a storefront address on this site because there is not one to find.
We are saying that on purpose. The usual version of a page like this is a dozen near-identical city pages implying a local presence that does not exist, and it is worth being clear that this is not that. Each page below exists because something about doing business in that place genuinely changes the work: the language it operates in, the rules it operates under, the way its customers search.
Where a place is close enough to meet in person, the page says so. Where it is not, the page says that instead.
The places
Seven, and what is different about each
What does not change
The same build, wherever it lands
Region changes the content. It does not change the floor.
A written scope before anyone commits, which is yours whether or not you hire us
Accessible to WCAG 2.2 AA, tested rather than asserted
Fast on a phone on a bad connection, measured on real hardware
Local search set up for the places you genuinely serve, and never padded with places you do not
Every enquiry landing in one place, from the form, the profile or the phone
Owned by you outright — the domain, the hosting account, the code, the analytics
Somewhere else
Your town is not on the list
The seven pages here are the places where the work changes enough to be worth writing about. They are not the limit of where we take projects — most of what we build is location-neutral, and a business in Halifax, Calgary or Denver gets the same process as one in Barrhaven.
If you are elsewhere, the discovery call is the same call. Tell us what you are trying to get done and we will tell you whether the distance is relevant, which for most projects it is not.
